# Pause, resume & restart render jobs

Please keep in mind that the system only supports resuming for animation jobs. For render jobs with single frame or preview jobs, you will have to restart render jobs.

**Pause render jobs**

For render jobs with single frame or preview jobs, you should not pause, because if you still want to continue rendering the project, you will have to re-render from scratch.

Besides that, if your project costs more than the amount you have left in your balance, your job also runs the risk of being stopped.
